Sembré is a rising hip-hop music artist in Chicago with a successful first album and a bright future. Marlene, a talented indie artist in her own right, is Sembré’s band manager and girlfriend, and together, they run a small record label. Everything changes when a new producer shows up with a major recording deal, forcing Marlene and Sembré to confront their past and their relationship, all the while navigating what it is to be famous.
