With his band Fishbone, Angelo Moore inspired a generation as the frontman of the all-Black ska, punk, funk, metal, reggae, soul fusion band, taking the early 80s punk scene in Los Angeles by storm, and inspiring others to embrace nonconformity. Now, he lives the life of “the famous but not rich,” crafting art through spoken word, music, and fashion. Through interviews with Angelo and his long-time collaborators and friends, we follow Moore through his daily inspirations and struggles, and examine the process of an artist who has devoted his life to weaving a legacy.
